Joe Jackson talks about MJ on the red Carpet of the BET awards and to me it sounds insincere. He doesnt even speak on the subject has his publicist read a statement, brings out his lawyer and then plugs his own record company. what do yall think?

Bizarre. He doesn't make much sense and does seem quite insincere. Perhaps that his just his style. However it is likely an expert listening to this interview & watching his body language would draw some interesting conclusions.
ReplyDeleteWhy plug his own record company? That is in extremely poor taste. He seems to be revelling in the limelight.
Remember, this man is the head of the Jackson family and has always had a strange hold over everyone. His behaviour will likely not seem strange to them. Nonetheless, it is not the display or emotion I gather most people were expecting. Blogs will 'call him out on it' though unlikely any of the major networks will comment.
Glad to know I wasn't the only person that was a little disturbed and uncomfortable - as was, quite noticeably, the CNN reporter.
RIP - MJ - Your music has brought me much joy for years and will continue until the day I play my final tune.
